In this episode, I outline my Horror Manifesto!  I’m tired of excellent horror movies being relabeled as anything but horror.  This podcast champions horror, and stands up for the horror movie as a beautiful story-telling style.

I also started a Twitter campaign: #SayHorror. I’m using the hashtag to get people talking about how Hollywood is relabeling  two horror films that are up for best picture to make them more “Academy Member Friendly.” I believe that mockery is the best use of my outrage, so I’ve made some “provocative” memes that I’ll be posting on Twitter with the #SayHorror hashtag. I’m hoping that either Jordan Peele or Guillermo del Toro sees them and it gives them a laugh.

I also hope it gets them to acknowledge horror for the art form it is on the world stage if (when) they accept  their much-deserved awards. I’d love to see you guys get involved, too! All you need to do is add #SayHorror to any tweets or Facebook posts. If it trends, perhaps other people will also have fun with it!

Many thanks!

I hope you enjoy the show!
